I’m Allison Clouser, and I founded Allison Clouser Interiors (ACI) in the spring of 2018 because after several years as a designer, I recognized how transforming a space can truly connect to emotion … a feeling of comfort, beauty and function is something everyone wants! I had worked on several personal projects, and my husband and I had put some major “sweat equity” into our homes. After completing our own home renovations and improvements, we had great success on the investment side of buying/selling our homes, and discovered that how they were furnished and styled made a huge impact -- but I didn’t fully understand that yet!
All of a sudden, I had friends asking for help with their projects -- and it wasn’t until we sold our fourth home in Portland that our realtor said, “Why aren’t you doing this for a living?” We sold that home at a record price per square foot for Washington County in Oregon. It was then that I decided to make it official and offer interior design services. Shortly after ACI launched, we made a major change in our lives -- we left Portland and moved to Bend, Oregon, a city we had always loved and enjoyed.
I continued to run my interior design business while commuting to Portland and slowly expanding into the Bend community. But because of the move, I found myself with an amazing inventory of beautiful, cool furniture pieces and decor and I didn’t know what to do with them! I won’t lie; to say that I saw staging as a viable business in Bend is an understatement. With this inventory and my experience, staging homes for sale became a very interesting business expansion possibility for ACI.
I got a call from our realtor in Portland about a house she was selling, and she said “Allison, your interior style is what makes these houses sell! Can you stage this for me?” It was then that I began utilizing my own pieces to stage and style homes in Portland. We sold the home in under 90 days after it had been sitting on the market for over a year! We have now grown that inventory to be able to offer the same high quality look in Portland and Bend and all throughout Central Oregon!

Sea or Ski? Sea, always. The warmth and colors of the ocean inspire me and remind me of family vacations in Maui.
Served Up or On the Rocks? Dirty Martini, up, with extra olives -- the best way to start the evening.
Design Inspirations? Windsor Smith, Sue De Chiara, my mom, varying shades of blue, anything equestrian.
Country or Rock and Roll? Country every day … Dierks Bentley and Kenny Chesney.
Place Setting or Buffet? Sit down dinners - I love time at the end of day to catch up with my family and reconnect with friends.
Flats or Heels? I’m 6’ so flats are my "go-to." Always looking for a new pair!
Best party you have attended? My wedding!
